For a wild moment I thought it was Jon who got a coaching job and I was rejoicing at never having to listen to him again blathering away on MNF. Sigh. Wrong Gruden. Every year I pray for Jon to go back to coaching but it never happens.

I remember going to see a Louisville game with my dad when Jay Gruden was the quarterback. Our seats were behind one of the end zones, and I spent most of the game annoyed that seemingly all of the good stuff was taking place at the other end of the field. But it worked out at the end, when the Cardinals capped a big comeback with a touchdown in our end zone.
I say him play a ton of Arena games. It’s kind of sad that he never got an NFL shot.
