“Recovering from surgery” is the last I saw on FB.
Sorry about that folks. Been a bit busy here. Jayjay is doing as well as can be expected. He actually stood yesterday, with assistance from aides, and also with a walker. We will be looking into getting him a prosthesis eventually. Right now, he should be moving from ICU to a regular sometime today. As soon as he is settled, I will pass along his address to anyone interested in sending something to him.

Glad to hear he’s getting stronger. Thank goodness they were able to get the infection in time, even if it cost him dearly. Remind him that it’s his mind we love!

Hey, everyone! Thanks for all the well-wishes and prayers and cards. As supervenusfreak posted over on FB, they did take the foot, and I’m currently in rehab (after fighting with my insurance company for a week about the facility). I’m planning on working very hard to bring things as much back to normality as possible for me. It’s still going to be a few weeks before I can go home, so no WoW for a while yet, but I’m going to use those weeks to get stronger and learn how to do things in my new reality (it’s hard to be in denial when you’re staring at a stump, which means that I should be getting a lot better at taking care of my health).
Great to hear from ya’, buddy! Rest up, get strong and let me know if you need anything!

Hey jayjay, really sorry to hear about the op, but glad you’re back and sounding strong. Good luck with getting a prosthesis too - there are a lot of amazing options out there now.
Glad to hear that you are on the mend and doing better. We miss you on the BDL, but obviously your health always takes precedence over a game. Just glad that you are here…take good care of yourself as you continue to heal.
