Jeb Bush?!?!?!

So it looks like Rachel Maddow has come up with the answer. It looks like these folks were looking for data that might make Jeb reconsider sitting it out. Turns out the data they collected doesn’t support the idea that he could march in at the last minute and vanquish Obama.

I was expecting it all to have something to do with the folks at Americans Elect, but apparently not. I still can’t figure out quite what they are up to though.

If he promises to mass-kill dark skinned people he will definitely get the “Exceptionalism” vote, along with the racist and the Christian fundamentalist vote.

What’s there to lose?

Opinions differ. Scott is violently anti-government and pro [del]rich people[/del] business, but I would argue that generally he is less conservative than Jeb.

So…you couldn’t get beyond the 3rd sentence of the OP w/o feeling the need to take a crap in the thread.

The “crap” is the promise to mass-kill the unwanted, as the Repubs define them.

Whoever Repub can promise it, he’ll get the nomination.

The OP was about a poll in NH w/ Jeb Bush vs Obama and who might be posing such a question at this moment in time.

I have no idea how the things you seem to want to go on about have anything to do with that.

Naxos, since I gave you a note about similar behavior last night, this time I’m issuing a formal warning for being a jerk.

Actually being anti-government is pretty close to my definition of conservative. Defining him as pro-business seems a little odd based on the reaction to cancelling the high speed rail project. Most state businesses seemed all for getting a butt load of free money from Washington.

There could be any number of reasons pollsters are creating surveys that gather data about Jeb Bush on a national level.

  • Someone wants compare Romney et al. to Bush and needs numbers.
  • One of the candidates is getting a pulse on Jeb as a running mate.

Well, there’s business and then there’s business. The high-speed rail thing was a government project and therefore bad. Regardless of how many jobs it would have created (or how harmless the builder would have held the state).

Yeah, according to the link from my earlier post it seems you are on the money.

I don’t know that I see much value having a Bush on the bottom 1/2 of the ticket at this point. I really think Jeb would be smart to stay invisible for now and keep his eye on 2016.

I am still mighty curious what the people behind Americans Elect really have in mind.

To make money.

As Zakalwe alluded to, he’s more socially conservative (Scott doesn’t seem to give a shit about social issues at all), but less fiscally conservative.

He’s also not at all like his brother, personality-wise. He doesn’t give off the dumbass vibe that W does, and speaks Spanish well enough to give press conferences in English and Spanish.

I think elucidator does him a disservice; he’s not particularly interesting, but you at least listen when he talks. On the surface, he appeared to do a good job as Governor (though in fact he was quietly fucking up everything).

That’s definitely what I’m looking for in a President but, the thing is, they all suggest it and I just can’t be sure which one will actually do it.
