My husband has and wears a few of my father’s ties, who would be 91 if he were alive. He would wear them more often if they were longer; my husband is 4’’ taller than my father was. I pitched all the nasty '70s and '80s polyester and kept the '40s and '50s silk.
There’s no such rule. I’ve been on Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and Win Ben Stein’s Money… each tryout I was asked (and answered honestly) about my previous show appearances.
I believe there is a rule about not being on two shows within one calendar year, in fact I’m certain of it because we did the math and I had my air dates written down. My show appearances were 1993, 2000, 2003, and 2005.
What makes people think all game shows have the same requirements?
Some shows openly promote having recent game show winners on, others prohibit it. Producers have a lot of leeway in making their own rules as long as they aren’t found to be staking the deck or discriminating against a protected class.
