Discussed here: Did this Wheel of Fortune lady get hosed or not? The thread is about a vernacular pronunciation of “swimming” and there is a link therein to a different occurrence where the pronunciation of “buttinksy” is curiously suspect.
Only link I see is one to a clip of people having problems saying “Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa.”
