When a player gets a “daily double” question and gets it wrong, why aren’t the other contestants allowed to ring in and take a shot at it like they are for regular questions?
I think you mean the “Daily Double”.
That’s just the rules. It lets one player have the chance to win really big, but not the others.

I guess exclusivity to the question is part of the “reward” for getting it. You might lose money, but you don’t have to worry about anyone else getting it.
It’s just the rules.
