Jeremy, you are just not getting it.
There is quite a bit of difference between the physics of a fire involving accelerants and a fire that slowly burns away the fuel, like a candle.
Have you ever used a charcoal grill? If not, let me describe some things. First, you stack the charcoal. Then maybe you spray some accelerant on it to help start. The problem is that sometimes the accelerant will flame up and then just go out – without the charcoals really starting up. Now, if you get those coals lit, they will slowly burn for quite some time – and burn down to ash. But if you try to burn them solely using accelerant, it may flame up and then go out. But you wouldn’t make the claim that charcoal isn’t flammable, would you?
