Very true. I’ve got a couple 60-something uncles in Arizona that are probably cry-in right now.
I understand that the term diamond merchants most often refers to Jews. But I would have to hear it in context. What was actually said? In what way did he “whip them up”? You will have to be a little more specific before I blame these deaths on him or refer to him as a criminal.
I find that he gives straighter answers than a lot of politicians and is often very insightful. He will never be President, but he certainly makes a difference.

That’s a pretty evenhanded treatment of the controversy. Even it, though, is damning.
Far worse is the Freddy’s Fashion Mart debacle, which really can’t be defended in any way.
