The perfect play at the perfect time! Jesse Warren not only hits home runs, but plays third base like a shortstop, anticipating a bunt, catching it, and throwing to first for a double play! (Also good work by the rest of the team, with the 2nd baseman covering first and the shortstop moving to 2nd without breaking a sweat.)
That was a great play! It looked like she hit the ground damned hard. Tough player.
Watch it in slo-mo, she doesn’t hit the ground quite as hard. 
I dunno. Looks like she got up a little slow. In any case, that was a heads up play.
I watched a little softball a couple days ago and I wonder why they wear those visors instead of baseball-style caps. Is there a functional reason for it, or just style/tradition? Maybe they’re more comfortable for players who wear their hair long?
