Can you get jet lag from being in space?
Ther is nothing intrinsic about being in space that would give you jet lag. The term comes from that fact that people didn’t start moving around several time zones at a time much before jet travel became commonplace. It comes from disrupting your cirdadian rhythms. For example I’m working in Florida now but I live in Phoenix so every week I have to adjust by three hours (Arizona has no daylight savings time) which disrupts my work and sleep schedules. I like to show up at the office at seven AM but my body still thinks it is four AM and I don’t fully adjust until it’s time to go home again. It was far more extreme when I went to Germany but since I stayed a whole month I was able to adjust and then be comfortable on German time.
