There’s a difference between saying their is a “conspiracy” and acknowledging quite reasonably that jewish groups and jews as a community in the US do have considerable influence. The Israel lobby being a case in point:

It is hard to imagine any mainstream media outlet in the United States publishing a piece like this one.

Or as Noam Chomsky said, “There are outstanding reporters and commentators, but as a broad generalization, I think it is fair to say that the media adopt the basic framework of state and private power, mostly uncritically. It’s not hard to demonstrate, and plenty has been written revealing these unfortunate but typical patterns – which are by no means new.”

Now we only have to figure out what is the basis of “state and private power” in the US to understand media bias. Any guesses? Come on, any guesses at all? :rolleyes:

That only really signifies if all these Jewish media moguls do something with their influence (that is, something in concert related to their Jewish identity.) Nobody complains about Protestant control of Wall Street and the Presidency.

In fact, the opposite is true; Hollywood’s Jewish elite have typically avoided using their influence to help other Jews, which is why the film Gentleman’s Agreement was made by goyim.

I don’t know about those other CTs, but I blame them for resurrecting threads that are over 10 years old.

In my defense I apologized for that in another post. I’ve recently been reading a lot of this stuff online and just wanted to address these issues in a public forum.

In general, it is best to start new threads on subjects that interest you rather than restarting old thread that the participants may be long gone. Here at the SDMB we call these ‘zombie’ threads and they rarely inspire new information or debate.

So please, enjoy your time here. But stop resurrecting old threads and simply create new ones.
