Well then, I would then very much like to have you reference a case in which such “circumstantial evidence”, numbers of one ethnic or racial group in upper management, was used to initiate a lawsuit, not dismissed before even discovery, and actual resulted in a finding of discrimination. there are lots of companies with all WASP management, industries even. Some with almost all Black management. Some even explicitly so:

Now, what is the next level? Who precisely would you sue? What evidence would you expect to find during discovery to support your case? What if anything would cause you to drop the case? Or do you just see a payday in a settlement as the outcome?
What would be the remedy after such an outcome? Similar to the agreement that I think either the NFL or MLB or both have to interview a certain number of non-white candidates for certain front office and possibly top level coaching jobs before making a hiring decision?
If so, from whence would those qualified candidates come?
As a budding, nearly middle aged, ethnically Jewish, but unconnected to Hollywood film producer, I find that a crock. Nothing is stopping you or anyone else from doing whatever you want in the entertainment business - if you have savvy and, well insight and chutzpah, you can start your own film studio.
If you have your career path to have one of only 8 jobs in any category in America, well, your odd are long no matter what. But if you aim to compete in that industry, there are few that are more open, especially these days, then entertainment.
One thing people seem to be ignoring is that it’s not clear how many of these “Jews” in Hollywood actually consider themselves to be Jews.
For example, Oliver Stone, Harrison Ford, and Zach Levi(the star of Chuck) are all of Jewish descent, but none were raised or appear to think of themselves as Jews.
Levi is a devout Christian, Stone is a devout Buddhist who’s made statements which seem to indicate he doesn’t consider himself Jewish and Ford was raised Catholic but apparently isn’t religious anymore.
I’m reminded of how many people identified Karl Marx as a Jew but ignored the fact that he was baptized and raised as a Lutheran never in any of his writings gave the slightest indication that he saw himself as a Jew.

How true. When Marx broke with a dominant paradigm in political thought, he became Jew enough for anyone. One of the seemingly endless rationalizations for anti-semitism is that Jews think different. Indeed, the stigma against original thought is powerful enough that in many contexts, Jews are indeed the only ones who do think different.

I think it’s mostly nepotism. Hiring your own. Not unique to the Jews. I think nepotism is equally as rife in the acting industry if not even more so.
