Even though viral diseases are incurable and barely treatable, you believe this one is curable. Even though vaccines are the only preventative for viruses, you claim there is a pill that will prevent coronavirus. The Trump Pill. Yes, he actually called it the Trump Pill.
We can all take one and go back to work, virus eradicated. Us Democrats make everything seem so hard. The only reason science has failed to make any inroads against viral diseases for the past 50 years is hatred for Donald Trump. Trump Derangement Syndrome is the reason there is no cure for SARS, Ebola, the flu, herpes or the common cold.
And I pit people that should’ve known better for not shooting this crap down hard and fast enough. The doctors that softened their criticism because Trump. The already compromised FDA relaxing their already lax standards again. Once these standards are lowered, it’s hard to pull them back up. I fully expect that at some point the FDA will test for safe only, and leave effective up to the free market.
Everyone needs to know that the line between alternative woo and good medicine isn’t a line, it a continuum. People with medical degrees and white coats and chemicals with long names that do scientific sounding stuff like “blocking zinc channels” can be just as bad as the wild-haired guys hawking mushrooms and shark cartilage as a cancer cure.
