Job listings for Master's Degree Holders

Trying to find more sources for these types of jobs, thanks.

Might help if you specified the field.

Any field is fine.

Surely someone in the top 5% won’t struggle.

Depends upon your field. What is that?
For a generic answer: go to the job search sites and look for an advanced search option, like at monster.com that allow you to specify education level.

Or, associations related to your field/the field you want to work in.

You may not care which field you work in, but you can bet employers care what you got your masters in. Without knowing if you have an MS in Biochem or an MA in Early Childhood Education, we can’t tell you anything useful.

Your area is also going to be important. A tiny town on top of a mountain may not have any jobs for people with those qualifications.

He never said he was looking for a job. It’s entirely possible he just wants to find sources for masters level jobs in general as a cite for a 100-level sociology paper or something.

He mentioned salary statistics in another thread, so he’s probably looking for better data. I think you’re correct.

Ok. Well he’s still not going to find what he is looking for, as jobs don’t generally get listed like that.

That’s true, obviously. It’s just useful to know which error he’s making.

if this is the case he should go talk to the librarian for the subject at his school. I can think of a couple of subscription resources at mpow that might be good but since that’s likely not his school I don’t know what access he has where he is.
