I’m looking for any studies conducted regarding employee satisfaction in jobs with clear career tracks / promotion paths vs. jobs without a clear promotion path. All I can find with Google are companies offering to conduct employee satisfaction surveys, which is not what I’m looking for 
Do such studies exist? If so, what were the results, and can you provide me a link? Thank you,
