Godammit! We’ll keep you off the Betadine!
Jesus, what a brilliant man!
He needs to come back to us!
Yeah, I miss him.
Bad.

OK Quasi, I’ll bite: what’s the betadine reference mean? Google turned up nothing.
That was a cool tune I never think about anymore. Thanks.
I saw the title of the song and thought I was going to hear a cover of the Alan Parsons Project song. Oh well.
Great clip – love the Coral electric sitar. “Don’t It Make You Want to Go Home” is one of my favorite tunes ever.
I remember seeing a game show back in the day where they played the chorus of the song, stopping before the title phrase. (They may even have had Joe South there to sing it; I don’t remember for sure.) The contestants had to guess which bestselling book the song was named for. One of the choices was “The Arms of Krupp,” and that was absurd enough to stick in my mind, so the song has always made me think of “Talkin’ 'bout you and me and the arms of Krupp!”
Unfortunately, Joe was institutionalized for many years because of his addictions.
He’d take anything and everything he could get his hands on and try to get high from it.
He has since overcome that problem, and at last report, was in Europe.
I think one of y’all wrote that, but it’s been so long ago, I’m not sure.
Thanks
