That’s the greatest news story of all time. Ever. It has all the elements. I’ve never laughed so hard at 8 people getting tragically slain.

Would that be because you might have to sing “Country Roads” or because of the possibility of getting shot for doing so?

That is so racist! Drunk or sober, Thai or American, listening to ANY group of people singing Country Roads is as legitimate a reason as any for a killing spree. 
Wow, I didn’t realize how close I came to buying it when I sang Country Roads in a bar in Dundalk, Ireland in 1976 (unaccompanied and a capella)!
