Edwards holds no public office and is a candidate for nothing so his opinions on leadership are no more important than mine. He’s just a private citizen and he’s accused of no crime. Al attempts to elevate this above the level of Britney Spears gossip are exercises in futility.
No, I’m sorry, I didn’t make myself clear. Edwards’ conduct is, as you said, our business because of his own words. The paternity of what’s-her-face’s child, however, is none of our business.
I think Edwards’ conduct is our business simply because he gave her $100k to make some very short documentaries buried inside his website.
Using campaign funds for something like that raises an eyebrow or two.
Why? It’s not illegal.
One,
Edwards had no chance at becoming VP. He couldn’t carry his own state!
Cabinet position? Long shot at best.
This is our business because Edwards made it our business?
Ok, Edwards opened the door for this but hey, it is still YOUR choice if you want to go in there.
As demonstrated by Andy Young.
I wonder if Edward’s admission will be welcomed with a standing ovation from his Democratic party colleagues, such as happened with David Vitter and republicans?

I doubt it.
