John Frankenheimer, 1930-19

According to CNN, John Frankenheimer, the director of Seconds, The Manchurian Candidate, and Seven Days in May, died of a massive stroke following spinal surgery at Cedars-Sinai in LA. He had an uncompromising cinematic vision that created some of the most provacative thrillers of our time.

He will be missed.

Shoot, that should read:

John Frankenheimer, 1930-2002. Mods?

“-19” ?

So, they’re predicting his death 17 years in advance? I’d ask an mod to fix the thread title.

The fight scene between Sinatra and Silva in Manchurian Candidate was incredible.
