So how does Leonard know that the other intruder’s name was John G.? He says that the police didn’t account for another intruder, right? So, he couldn’t have gotten this information from the police report. Everyone’s so concerned about who’s lying and who’s telling the truth, but nobody explains how Leonard arrives the conclusion that John G. was an accomplice in the rape and murder his wife. Anyone? Anyone?
Well, no one mentioned specifically how long he’d been searching for John G. He could’ve happened upon the evidence at any point in time. Also, in case anyone was wondering, this is about Memento, which is quite possibly the most original movie of the year. Also, sponger, as I can see you’re quite new, may I make a few suggestions for further reference? Please include in the subject line if you’re going to have spoilers in your post, for the other members of the Teeming Millions who’ve not had the honor of seeing this work of art. Also, I think this belongs in General Questions, but I’ll leave that one to the Mods. Oh, yeah. There’s a Memento spoilers thread already, so you could check that out for active discussion.
As a dedicated contributor to the aforementioned Memento Spoilers Thread, may I just say …
“AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!”
Leave my movie alone!! You’re picking apart it’s rotting corpse like a vulture after a hunger strike!!
Leonard didn’t kill his wife!! Sammy wasn’t a con-man!! Teddy lied all the time!! The “I did it” tattoo scene was symbolic!!
Sheesh!
Ok, now that I got that off my chest, you may continue your analyzation of this movie. And sorry about taking up all the exclamation points.
