Update: Earlier I criticized BrainGlutton for basically putting out thoughtless OPs. In the interest of fairness, I saw a couple of threads he started this morning in GD, and let me be the first to say, I saw them as a noticeable improvement over the “cut and paste from a news story, what do you think?” formula that grated on me.
I don’t know if that is a cooincidence or a a result of this thread, but I found the ones I read to be interesting topics with the issue for debate framed well. So, BG, here’s one person who appreciates the extra effort. Thank you.
I enjoy reading Kos, Glenn Greenwald, TPM, Digby, FAIR, Media Matters, etc. Generally, after reading those sites I have a pretty good idea what BG will be posting for the day.

Usually it flares up over some retarded, tangential point, eventually coming back full circle to the concept of American imperialism.

I have a theory that every list of alternate/slang names for a particular drug contains at least one item that nobody actually uses, but that someone included as a joke. (In this particular case “Zombie’s Cucumber” sounds pretty suspect, even if it is used in actuality.)
With Wiki this can be done by anyone at any time, of course— but even “official” lists of drug “street names,” e.g., on the DEA website, always seem to contain a few suspicious entries, which I picture being given to a credulous narc by some drug informant prankster, like:
COCAINE - a.k.a. coke, blow, snow, c, caine, nostril sugar, Tinkerbell toot, and 20 Mule Team Borax…
