The writings of John Stormer are the morally bankrupt rantings of a right-wing fanatic. This guy’s as frightening as Randall Terry, Eric Rudolph, Fred Phelps and Neal Horsley–I’m sure if they could all get together with like-minded people to create a new state of their own, they’d conjure up quite an authoritarian’s paradise–no sissy rules like “love your neighbor” and “let he who is without sin cast the first stone”.
What the hell are you talking about?
Who is John Stormer?
Where’s the link?
Sorry, Lib, if the OP isn’t nice enough to provide a link or quote or SOMETHING, I’m not going to do the leg work for him.
Stormer was most famous for his 1963? book “None Dare Call it Treason”, where he alledged that modern liberalism was pro-communist, and that Communist sympathizers in the gov’t, including most of the Democratic party, were helping international communism. He said most of the blame for this was due to the educational theories of John Dewey, which had become mainstream in American education.
As one summary of Stormer’s beliefs on education goes:
I don’t know what he did now to raise Philosophocles’ ire, though.
