Why does the Anti-Defamation League give out a Johnny Cash Americanism Award? When I looked all I really found was that the Anti-Defamation League fought Anti-Semitism, but I can’t find a solid link between it’s causes and Johnny Cash. Can anybody help?

Oh don’t get me wrong. homer. I like Cash’s music just fine. I’m just not a “great” fan of country music in general. A matter of taste, that’s all.

was the best music/variety show on television, ever. He took a lot of heat from the traditional crowd for some of the guests and songs on this show. Same goes for his political views. I admire the man.
