Just heard it again for the first time in ages.
I thought that his cover of the song was fantastic. It was changed enough to his “style” and still retained enough of a “rock” rythym to it even though it definetly had the country twang and reverted to rock riffs at the end.
That guy was good. His voice just fit it too. People that do covers to make a quick buck now could stand to take a lesson from how he did it.
