In the hallway, Trump responded to a reporter that “he was proud that he did not go after HC on ‘Bill’s scandals’, and implied that he 'knows stuff, unbelievable stuff. Maybe he’ll bring it up at the next debate”.
He is actually plugging the next debate like it’s the next episode of his reality show.:smack:

Because Clinton has a 23-year unbroken record of dishonesty, bad ideas, growing government, and untrustworthiness.

He’s sounded like that for several years now, sometimes to the point that he’s difficult to understand. I don’t know if it’s due to age or a condition.

Agreed. He equated black issues with crime, strongly supported stop and frisk, and implied that while white people+guns=America, “those people”+guns=stop at any cost. I half expected him to say he had investments in black neighborhoods.
Well that’s not necessarily a bad thing… as long as it’s not your spouse doing it. Trump made “The Cyber” sound like a bad thing 
Brokaw has been fighting multiple myeloma for 3 years now. Maybe that affects his speech somehow?
I don’t think this was a slam-dunk, unambiguous victory for Secretary Clinton, but that’s only because of the weird standards that existed with this matchup.
If this were a first viewing of a debate between Candidate C and Candidate T, in my view Candidate C won on the merits.
But somehow the rule is that Trump merely had to avoid soiling his trousers, and Clinton had to evolve into a being of pure energy. Under those rules, I suppose it was a draw.

David Brooks said much the same thing on PBS — that Donald did quite well for the first 30 minutes…and then completely fell apart. I think the word he used to describe Donald’s birther defense was “abysmal”.
Trevor Noah on The Daily Show showed a quick five-second run-on with the sniffles; pretty funny.
