Jolly Time Microwave Marshmallowy Crack

I’m not the most observant person in the world, so it’s possible this stuff has existed for ages and I’m just now discovering it. It’s microwave popcorn that comes with a little foil packet of creamy sweet marshmallowy goodness. You drizzle it over the hot popcorn and toss to coat, and it’s buttery and sweet and salty and yummy yummy yummy.

I’m scared to read the nutrition content. Not that it would matter. I wouldn’t stop eating this stuff now even if I knew that every bite would instantly create a cellulite blob shaped like Bill O’Reilly on my ass.

The bag claims it serves four. The bag lies.

Is that microwave kettle corn? I haven’t tried that yet.

I’m skeptical that you don’t know the calories when you know the serving size. 'Fess up.

Oh my. I hope to Og that none of the stores around here have it. This could be bad for my summer weight loss goals . . . drools

Hey, Bill!! Oh, sorry it is just Marlitharns’ ass.

Someday I’m going to have to learn how to decipher those stupid nutrition labels. I’m guessing it’s not all that healthy? My kids ate the last bag while I was at work last night. They are dead to me! DEAD, do you hear?

…Makes note to self…Buy stock on Marshmallow Crack Popcorn…

It’s not healthy if you make your parents mad by eating their treats.

Otherwise, by that nutrition label it seems like the whole bag is 240 calories… which is less than a normal sized candy bar but more than a 16 ounce bottle of Coke. For such a large volume of food it always surprises me how low the calories are in popcorn.

What bugs me more is the price of specialty microwave popcorn like this. :frowning: At the moment it’s not something I can buy all the time.

Uh, read that again. They do something kinda tricky with the nutrtion info. It’s either 1 serving (2.5 cups) or 1 cup. There are 4 servings and 10 cups in a popped bag.

So the entire bag is 600 calories with 50 grams of fat. ON the good side is a decent helping of fiber: 12 grams per bag.

For comparison, a Big Mac has 560 calories and 30 grams of fat.

Sadly, a handful of idiots have ruined the best caramel Crack Popcorn (tm phall0106) on the planet. General Mills recalled its Caramel Glazed PopSecret popcorn after a few people burned themselves on hot glaze. Dear heavenly Og, that stuff was good! (Vastly better than the stuff on the market now, since the caramel isn’t added after popping, and the end product is much crunchier.) I guess my hips should thank the idiots, but grr!

Does this mean I can sue the producers of every food product I’ve ever burned myself on? How about iron and curling iron manufacturers? If so, I think I have a new retirement plan…

As a Brit, I got confused over your use of the word ‘crack’. I thought this was a sweet-tooth snack which gave you a high as well…
