I have only just reached this post, which I found amusing cuz years ago my friend and I in college talked about the twins and wondered how they had 21 children. Actually their flesh bond was flexible so that one twin could twist around to accomodate who ever’s wife could be on top. I think that was only way they could do it. Guess in Victorian Times, that was just not discussed.
SOmeone mentioned the Hensel twins. I think they are now in college, and I read nothing about them dating at all in high school. They would go to dances/prom with groups of friends. Nothing mentioned about them meeting guys in college. They could have simply cultivated a life without the need for starting a family the conventional way. I dunno if there would be any guy out there that would love one twin and have to accept the other twin would be along for the ride!
One great great grandaughter was interviews last year as she was running for congress? And she looks clearly Asian. When she was little as shop keeper asked her, you must be one of the Bunkers. ANd she proudly said yes!

Though it should be mentioned that the shirtless pics are actually the Liou brothers, who were separated as old men though it’s unknown whether either survived.
I saw reports from 2009 that one of the Hensel twins was engaged, but I think it would have been a bigger news story if it had been true.
The twins did say they do want to get married and have families…
The Gosselins seem very unusual to me. I’ve lived in the Philadelphia area for 10 years, there’s a fairly big Korean population here, and I’ve known TONS of half Korean, half white kids (as well as a good many half Korean, half black kids). Many with one Korean parent don’t look anywhere near as identifiably Asian as every Gosselin child does, and those kids are only 1/4 Korean! I can’t figure it out. Maybe has something to do with Kate also having regular features very similar to Jon’s.
I have one close Korean friend who has three children with her Irish-American husband. Two of her kids usually aren’t assumed to be part-Asian at all, especially as one of them has dark red hair and fair freckled skin. She does have one daughter who could pass for Korean, though, except for the curly hair.
Asians have been producing Ginger for centuries.
