That’s actually from The Man Who Wasn’t There, one of my favorite “often overlooked” Coen Brothers films. He only had a couple of scenes but his pass at Ed Crane was hilarious. But his role in Miller’s Crossing was outstanding. Hell, everybody was phenomenal in that film. And then of course, his “brother Shamus” Da Fino in The Big Lebowski.

I first became aware of him as Phil Bartoli in the great first season of “Crime Story.” Loved him in “Miller’s Crossing” as well!
