Trumpiness was a good sequel to Truthiness.
Truthiness was things that don’t rely on facts, but feel true. Comes from the heart, not the head. Described George W. Bush’s decisions perfectly.
Trumpiness doesn’t rely on the facts and doesn’t even have to feel true. Comes from far lower in the digestive system.
Never any doubt. Like many legendary heroes, he left us because he was needed elsewhere, not because he lost his way.
This one segment highlighted how far the current TDS has sunk. It doesn’t even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence.
I wouldn’t say that TDS has sunk; it’s a different show and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. For example, I remember threads in which people were tired of Jon Stewart pointing out the hypocrisy of Fox News. TDS doesn’t do that sort of thing at all any more.
