Yes. The post in question (to which I referred in my OP) has been disappeared and I’m not going to repeat the content.
And let us turn our attention to this post . A vile slur of incest against Trump and his daughter. And once again Jonathan Chance does little.

He was pleased when H. Stern described Ivanka as “a piece of ass”. He described her developing breasts and expressed his desire to be dating her.
I would have done even less. As long as Trump and his daughter are not members here, then personal attacks on them, no matter how repugnant, don’t seem to violate any rules.
I highly doubt if these are true.
Discusses Ivanka’s breasts when she one year old.
Well, I think that she’s got a lot of Marla, she’s a really beautiful baby, and she’s got Marla’s legs. We don’t know whether she’s got this part yet [gestures toward own chest], but time will tell …

In more than one interview with Stern, Trump took part in conversations about Ivanka Trump’s appearance, including one about the size of her breasts.
In an October 2006 interview, Stern remarks that Ivanka “looks more voluptuous than ever,” and asked if she had gotten breast implants. Trump is willing to engage in the discussion about his own daughter, telling Stern that she did not get implants.
“She’s actually always been very voluptuous,” Trump responds. “She’s tall, she’s almost 6 feet tall and she’s been, she’s an amazing beauty.”
In another interview, from September 2004, Stern asks Trump if he can call Ivanka “a piece of ass,” to which Trump responds in the affirmative.
“My daughter is beautiful, Ivanka,” says Trump.
“By the way, your daughter,” says Stern.
“She’s beautiful,” responds Trump.
“Can I say this? A piece of ass,” Stern responds.
“Yeah,” says Trump.

“I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter perhaps I’d be dating her.”That was when he spoke those infamous words, that,
“I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter perhaps I’d be dating her.”

I don’t think you have an accurate understanding of what the moderators do here.

The post about goon squads? Still there.
So you’re posting all this to retract your assertions?

No, there was another post, now removed.
You can pretend that if you want.

That’s the one. After I reported it, I could no longer find it, so assumed it had been removed. I guess Ed or Helena or both will be getting a visit from the Secret Service.
Really? You really think that?
There isn’t a law against wishing. (board rules notwithstanding)
Untrue! I said, ‘ew’.
Get this, Quartz: we are not here to enforce your personal sense of decorum. I haven’t consulted the others, but I’m pretty certain I speak for all of us when I say that I disagree that threads should stay viable and open under the vast, VAST majority of cases. Your own distaste - which I may share - is not sufficient reason for violating that principle.
That word, “retract.” I don’t think it means what you think it means.

I think you messed up your wording there. As is, you are saying you believe the vast vast majority of threads should be closed.

I did even less. I saw the report, read the post, and concluded while I personally wouldn’t engage in such discussion, it’s not a violation of any rule. It’s crude, but really, much worse has been said here and virtually everywhere.
Again, my first inclination before moderating is to determine if there was a rule that was violated. I stopped at that step.
As I noted earlier, I’m not seeing any substantive difference between the thread under discussion here and this thread which you had no problem moderating. Care to comment?
