There’s going to be a hearing to see if Merrick “Sgt. Schultz: I see nothing” Garland can release it to a group of lawmakers. Not sure what she has approved releasing if that’s still in question. Maybe it’s just the classified parts.

Not me. I was only interested to the extent it seemed something might be done about it. But he bore no meaningful price for his past misdeeds, much as I anticipate he will pay no price for his inevitable future misdeeds. I doubt any report could contain much that would sway my opinion of Chump one way or the other. I’d rather direct my time and effort elsewhere.
Does this just punt the appeal up to the Supreme Court?

Apparently there are two volumes to the report: one dealing with Trump’s efforts to overturn the election (this part can be released) and the second volume on the classified documents case where Trump kept classified documents in Florida after he left the Presidency. This can’t be released yet since there are co-defendants and it might prejudice them in a trial. This second volume is the one Garland might give to Judiciary committee leaders.
Garland better hurry. By Monday, this is all going away.

Technical question: Why was it up to Cannon whether the election interference report got released. Wasn’t it another judge in charge of that?
Probably because of her ruling that the special counsel was illegitimately appointed, so everything he’s done is tainted. That’s my best guess, anyway. Why she’s now saying one report can be released, I dunno.
Two co-conspirators need to go to court. Then Trump can pardon them.
He can pardon them on January 20 and then they don’t need to go to court.
Raid their homes and offices and secure the evidence. Maybe it should be stored in the Biden presidential library archives. Or be given to wikipedia for publication.
Somebody needs to get a picture of this Judge Cannon and publish it . I am beginning to believe she is another alter ego of Trump just like John Barron in the 80s
