Watching lots of Judo here in Tokyo. I’ve been asking, but nobody knows why some people have their names and country removed from their name-tag-iron-on things.

It seems totally random. I don’t get it and nobody (that I’ve asked) has any idea. It’s driving me nuts. Haven’t seen it for a few bouts, so it’s bound to happen soon…

I think maybe their uniform got damaged and ripped so they gave out a loaner. This is based on the fact that it seems to be the losers with the no-namers.
