Just built my new computer Leucocephelus

Intel 13700K (Raptor Lake - hence the name)
ASRock Z790 PG Riptide: First one was DOA, Second one worked great. Has the PCIe 5.0 m.2 slot if I ever need it but honestly I got it for the layout and it is not loaded with features I don’t need.
Corsair DDR5 6000 2 x 16GB: Not RGB.
ASRock Challenger D Radeon RX 6650 XT: 8GB VRAM and only $230
Samsung 980 PRO: 1TB PCIe4 for the OS and programs
Samsung 970 EVO: 500GB PCIe3 for data and documents

Corsair 5000D Airflow: 10 fans including a spot for a side radiator
Corsair iCue 150i AIO cooler: I wiped off the crap Corsair paste and used Arctic Silver instead. Keeps my CPU under 40 degrees non-American. Hoses are just barely long enough.
Corsair QL120 RGB fans: 3 intake through the front. 3 exhaust through the top.
I am not an RGB fan (ha ha) and got these because they works so well. But I have to say I now love the RGB on these particular fans. And I set the RGB for the cooler block to indicate CPU temp. Light is green, trap is clean.

Coincidentally the case and RAM are Corsair. The radiator and fans are all Corsair (except the on stock case fam I left at the rear) so I could use the Commander Core XT. Great decision although I thought it was defective. Apparently it doesn’t like to automatically detect the 6th fan (although it still ran) so I have to manually add it to RGB list in iCue. But once that happened it works fine and makes life so much easier with all of the RGB and PWN attachments needed.
Corsair (coincidence) 850W PSU: Modular of course.

It’s an animal!

Got any pics? You talk about the RGB being nice, so I thought it might be a bit of a looker.

(My PC is just a black box, the cheapest case I could find online at the time. The motherboard has an amber glow option, but I turned it off as you can barely see it.)

Bah. Xanthocephalus is the superior dinosaur!

Nice looking machine  .

I could probably take a few I did not want it to look like a unicorn dropped acid, ate skittles and threw up all over my machine. The motherboard has an RGB logo and that’s it. The cooler plate has RGB and I thought that was overkill until I found that it could show CPU temp so that is practical (and luckily always green). The QL fans run along the top and front so I use the setting where the color slowly changes back to front then down. So nothing too wacky-ass.
