We are all in a simulation that prepares us and gives us a history lesson prior to the Singularity.
Yeah yeah…cool story bro.

The secret is we are all just living inside a snow globe according to Earthworm Jim.
We will all be assimilated soon. If you missed the email about it, its sure to happen sooner :dubious::eek:
Unfortunately I believe I’m in the zone to be cached by ants. That sounds… unpleasant.
This particular universe is a 3-vector qubit with a specific balance point along the scales of Improbability, Uncertainty and Absurdity. If you can find a way to reach the boundary region, you might find other universes at different balance points. However, those scales are not simply-connected in one-dimensional space, so traversing them in the first place will probably prove to be an exercise in frustration.
All evidence indicates we’re still in beta.
“How’s it going… WildBlueYonder. Say… Did you get the memo about being assimilated? I’ll just go ahead and make sure you get a copy of that, umkay?”
Uhm. I need to go back in the tank. Set for 1964.
We are God’s terranium, which He lost interest in and shelved long ago. Let’s just hope He never gets around to cleaning His basement.
Well there’s a good reason for that.
Actually, God hasn’t created any universes. Yet. What we see around us is merely a simulation, one of many God is running concurrently with various starting parameters, to research which one will work out best before He actually creates a real universe. Universes are expensive, and One wants to get it right the first time.
The universe — the simulation — that we see around us isn’t that. This universe went way off the rails early on (Gen. 3) and has been deteriorating ever since. True, God has propped things up from time to time and tried to repair the damage (e.g., Gen. 7), but it’s been a losing proposition.
All we can say (not that it will help us any), is better luck with one of the other simulations.
