Just finished the first draft of my third novel

It’s a children’s middle-grade fantasy, i.e., it’s for ages 8-12.

Now all I have to do is: Add a character that I thought of halfway through, make it longer (about 3,000 words should do it), explain just why the villains showed up when they did, proofread, and, what was that last part? Oh, yeah…

Make it good.

Congratulations! Take a few days off before you dive back in, celebrate a bit. Then back to work.

Umm, you wouldn’t happen to be on really good terms with your literary agent, would you??

Unfortunately, I don’t have a literary agent yet. Working on it, though.
