I have 1TB total on my home server - between using it to store my music, photos, docs, DVD rips, and backups, I’m already half full. And that’s not even with all my DVD’s ripped - I’ll need another terabyte to store all of them (in full quality VOB format).
Got a long way to go before we’ll need that name. After tera, you’ve got peta, exa, zetta and yottabytes. Then we can move to LOCabytes.
That’s just the printed archive, though. Throw in all the video and audio recordings and such and it gets more respectable.
