I stop by TJ Maxx and Marshalls and check out things like frames all the time. Regular shopping and I have frames in the basement that I like.
Also, Joanns.com is great for this. They are (were? - I don’t know when it ended) having a 60% off sale on all of their frames. I just got a fantastic 5x7 copper finish frame for $4.00.
Agree with the Dollar Stores, but if you have an Ikea anywhere near you, years ago I got some frames for large posters that were amazingly cheap! Try to find cheap frames in that format!
I think I paid about $9 each, and bought 20 of them. Still have them hanging in the den and in the hallways around the house.
You might also try Big Lots, should there be one of those in your area.
Marshall’s has lots of good frames for cheap.
I finally made it to a few suggested stores last night and scored pretty well.
I got a pretty nice looking 10x20 frame at Job Lots for under $15. I also got a box type 8x10 for just a couple dollars.
I swung by a dollar store after that and saw that they have a whole bunch of decent looking 8x10 frames. So I plan to go back there and get a bunch.
