So, a full 8 hours after they had paid their bar tab, these numbnuts were still above the legal limit to drive a car. They were at twice the limit the FAA, and their employer, set as a legal limit to fly a plane.
Why ANY booze in the bloodstream is OK to fly a plane is beyond me.

Christ, they had to stop the plane on the runway to arrest these maggots. What the fuck were they thinking???
I can’t speak for anyone else, but there’s been more than a few times when I’m still not that on top of things eight hours after my last drink. 24 hours sounds much more reasonable.

I might be a little late with this one (I’d be mighty surprised if there wasn’t already a Pit thread on this), but to go with the above, there was this brilliant little gem… and after this incident with the Way-Incredibly Drunk pilots, methinks AW’s got some 'splaining to do.
I’m against frivolous lawsuits, but frankly, I hope that woman sues the ever-living sh!T out of those morons. (Guess which airline I’m NOT flying on anytime soon.)

There are over 2500 recovering alcoholics flying US airliners today.
Worry, not till I get on Areoflot… Bawahahahhaa
also wonder what would be the opinions if the woman had asked if the pilots were carrying a bomb in their ‘brain’ bags? I kniow what happens in the terminal if you say the “b” word out loud…
I think that any airline who has ever had a problem pilot for any reason should be shut down and all assets given to the surviviors of their previous flights. The CEO’s jailed and the pilots put to work picking up trash like the scum they are.
