…I find a big, hard lump in my abdomin. Good times.
For those of you who may not know, I was in a car accident. I was hospitalized and pretty banged up, but all-in-all I was ok: some internal bruising, lots of external bruising, burned wrist, general soreness. In the last few days, some of my worst bruises have started to clear.
Tonight I felt my lower abs and discovered a longish (2-3 inches), hard lump.
I really don’t want to go back to the doctor- being in the hospital was miserable. I don’t want more cat scans, IVs, or blood tests.
It’s a necessary evil, though. I’d rather have some minor discomfort now, rather then discovering something bad down the road. Guess I’ll be calling Kaiser first thing in the morning.
IANAD, but I’d think a “big hard lump” in your abdomen warrents action sooner than “tomorrow”. Call your doctor’s office today, and tell them what you discovered. See what they say to do, and do it? Please? worry I hope you’ll be ok. sends good vibes
Thank you for the good vibes :). I would have gone to the doctor when I discovered it, but it was 12 AM. I’m not about to go back to the hospital unless I have to. I called the doctor a couple hours ago and I have an appointment in a little bit. I’ll keep you updated.
