From those texts, it’s pretty clear that Ginni Thomas is a deluded lunatic, whatever the effect is on the Supreme Court.
From the article, “Demand that they not abandon their Constitutional responsibilities during a time such as this.” Their Constitutional responsibility is to certify electoral votes and make the legitimate winner President. Is she too dumb to realize that, or does she want to overthrow the duly elected government?
C’mon people - she was under the influence of QAnon back then, but she will shortly make a statement that her views have evolved and she will now disavow the Big Lie and acknowledge the fact that Brandon won.
She’s not dumb, so I’ll go with the second part. Or, she could be really deluded about the election.

It has a some details I haven’t seen yet, when Rudy was giving his unhinged press conference and hair dye was running down his face, she texted Meadows “Tears are flowing at what Rudy is doing right now”. She did not say what color the tears were.
I remember tears flowing from me during that press conference as well, that’s how hard I was laughing,
Those NYTimes articles demonstrate that “Ginni” is a crusader, and the common bond she has with Clarence is that they both see themselves as victims - he, of the “high-tech lynching,” and she, of the leftward drift of the country. Her mom was a right-wing activist.
If Clarence had any integrity he would have declined the nom after Anita Hill came forward, or even a few years after his appointment after his penchant for falling asleep during arguments, never asking questions, and rarely if ever authoring opinions even though he is the senior associate justice.
For Ginni, as carnivorousplant stated, she’s a true believer and she believes a right-wing government is right, necessary, so anything that leads to that end is appropriate. “The end justifies the means.”
I hope there’s a new litmus test at the next SCOTUS nomination: “Do you feel it’s appropriate for a spouse of a justice to be active in political matters that the court may need to opine on?”
At any rate, I guess the best we can hope for Clarence Thomas to be synonymous with “unethical grifter.” But I suspect he’s beyond shame, he believes he deserves this appointment after all he has been through. 
SCOTUS has been compromised by politics since Day 1. Sometimes that didn’t seem to matter, but it gave us such decisions as Dred Scott, Plessy vs Ferguson, and Citizens United.
Would not be surprised.
Unless I’m mistaken, he was one of the very few survivors of the Bowling Green Massacre.

It would be strange for the Supreme Court but, traditionally in DC, when someone is breaking the law, acting unethically, etc., a co-worker will leak information to the press that can serve as cause for an investigation.
While I admit that it’s relatively unlikely that Roberts will give Thomas “the talk” - as I recommended above - with the House starting to talk about impeachment, I wouldn’t be surprised if Thomas has written some things over the years that indicate a supreme lack of devoutness to judicial impartiality. Nutballs tend to be fairly open about their nuttery in the presence of others who they think are on their side. Someone is liable to recall those statements and hand them over to the press.
It will be interesting, it it comes.
That audio recording of the message that Ginni left on Anita Hill’s voicemail - asking Hill to apologize- is truly disturbing. It’s recorded at like 7:30 in the morning, and her words are slow and measured - intoxicated?! On drugs??
Although, in light of recent disclosures, perhaps she’s just a real dumb person.
Kind of like how Clarence Thomas is the laziest Justice on the high court.
IF it is real. Do we know who released it to the press, and where they obtained it?
Credible reporting says that Ms. Thomas herself confirmed it’s authenticity.

What’s most sad about the Anita Hill accusations is the corroboration that was never aired publicly. Thomas really was a demeaning bully towards women.
I can see Ginni and trump doing that mirror act in the doorway that Lucy and Harpo used to do.
