actually, I may have messed up the quote - it was “East of I-75 on Tates Creek Road” - and the scene in question was on a bridge (overlooking ‘a’ river).
a) Tates Creek road crosses the KY river by ferry - there is no bridge
b) There is no part of Tates Creek road that is east of I-75 - in fact 90% of Lexington is West of I-75
c) Tates Creek Road runs roughly down the center of lexington to the river.
