Katrina: a lesson for society?

Bill Whittle has written a long and thought-provoking piece on the lessons for society. What do you think of it? The comments are mainly of the"Me too" variety, alas.

Couldn’t get through it. That man desperately needs an editor.

True, but I read it as more of a ‘stream of consciousness’. I think he makes a good point about how we are segregated not by race but by ethos.

Amen!

The Boy Scouts could have done a better job from the start had it been their responsibility.

We, the USofA had better get our ducks in a row and learn what, how, and why so that when a really big catastrophe hits us we can deal with it rapidly and correctly.

All the entities with responsiblility wanted someone else to do their job for them!

When the military got the GO they got with it!

I couldn’t make it completely through, either.

I find it ironic that someone who claims to be distressed about the division of the US finds the solution to be label liberals “pink” with its obvious connotations. He claims that membership in his rock-solid, wonderfully strong tribe take courage and at a cost. True, unless you’re one of these

Hate replying to my own comments, but I peeked back at the commentary, and his “pink” comments are deliberate, not ironic.

Drivel.
