Keep water away from electronic toothbrush and razor?

I forgot to answer this yesterday!

It’s this Braun brush. I have found that I really do brush longer with the readout that times the quadrants and gives me a smiley face when I’ve completed 2 minutes, and then gives a bigger smile and winks when I do 3 minutes. Seems a bit juvenile, but it’s working! I’ve had it since June, and with a regular manual brush I would be feeling some tartar buildup behind my front bottom teeth by now. I usually need a pretty thorough scraping every 6 months. With this brush and the extra time, everything still feels like fresh from a cleaning at the dentist’s office.

It wasn’t cheap, even half off from my dentist, but I was able to put it on my Care Credit account. We’ll see in December how much of a payoff it will be.

The manual for my Norelco electric razor says the heads should be rinsed in the sink after every use, the heads are removable and there is no mention of having to remove the heads to do the rinsing, so yes, it is designed to get wet. However, over time I think water eventually wins. My previous model lasted about 5 years (no complaints from me). When I dismantled it to remove the the rechargable battery for proper disposal, the terminals were quite corroded and the reason for its failure was pretty obvious.
