Since the main question has had several responses, may I ask a sidebar question? What the heck are winter vegetables? (Winter means snow an 30 below to me.)
What I mean are leafy vegetables like lettuce, kale, kohlrabi, etc. Summer is too hot and sunny, so those bolt into flower and you can’t eat them. I’ve heard of snow, and even seen it in pictures. Are you saying you live somewhere that it actually happens?
