Did the Kerry campaign support the Ohio recount?
According to the AP, yes.

I’m sure Kerry’s camp supported it (why wouldn’t they?) but it was 2 minor party candidates that initiated it. Though, McAuliff may have had a little bit to do with it.
As I watched the 11:00 news last night – an extended version that led into the New Years Eve acorn-dropping ceremony (don’t ask! ;)) – the lead national story was of course the Presidential race, and Kerry’s concession reminded me of this issue. Does anyone have a quick-and-dirty summary of what the status of the Ohio recount is?
here is the latest.
Kerry picked up a handful of votes, but Bush still wins Ohio. Jesse Jackson is still trying to challenge things in court, but then again when is King Jesse happy about anything?
Wasn’t Pennsylvania even closer, with Kerry winning?
That’s a pretty major state.
