It’s a shame.
I vote Republican much more than I vote Democrat… but I have always admired Bob Kerry, and I had high hopes he’d win the '92 nomination.
He’s a loss to the Senate and the country.

Although he’s retiring from the Senate, he hasn’t ruled out running for President or becoming an ambassador. (According to the local newscast at 5 pm here in Omaha.)
I agree- the Senate will be poorer for his loss.
