Keurig Coffee machine owners: List your fave K-cups!

We bought a decaf sampler to keep around for guests- you might want to try that.

Gloria Jean’s Cappuccino!

Ours at work just happens to be from a distributor that is also our landlord, so I’m kinda limited to what they have to offer because they’d probably get pissy at us if they found out we were getting a deal on the machine from them but not getting the coffee from them.

I’m not a big coffee connoisseur, but for anyone who is wondering, Timothy’s French Vanilla isn’t very vanilla-y.

Anyone try Canarillo? Is it basically like Neo-Citron? I started working here in November and there’s one cup left of it that no one has touched and I’m thinking of taking one for the team.

Timothy’s Nicaraguan Fair Trade Organic Extra Bold, Mexican Organic and Kona Blend are cool.

I agree I love the coffee people extra bold line. I’m also digging the Chai Tea Latte from Cafe Escapes, but that doesn’t seem to be available on Amazon’s Subscribe and Save.

I am not a fan of the Hot Cocoa’s I’ve tried, they come out too weak and thin like the mix didn’t fully dissolve in the cup.

I like the Timothy’s Colombian Dorado, which is stronger than the La Vereda. Their Kona blend was a little soft for my taste - I’m trying Coffee People’s Kona next.

I have the one size fits all machine - as a gift. My wife often handles breakfast, and I’m the main coffee drinker. She didn’t want to pamper me by grinding coffee every time, and sometimes I want one cup and others I want 2-3. So she went with the make your own, one-cup at a time option.

We own a machine and like the concept but don’t like the eco-unfriendliness of the individual K-cups. Instead we have the insert which permits one-cup brewing in a reusable filter basket/holder gadget (made for the Keurig machines). This also addresses the strength-of-coffee issue, since you can adjust the amount of ground coffee used. Herr 'spiel prefers coffee that can barely crawl out of the mug, while I require some authority - so each of us can have the strength we need.

Preferred coffee? For me: Kicking Horse 454 Horsepower. For him: decaf dishwater.

The Espresso blend. Learn it, live it, love it.

I’ve been told that drinking coffee until my heart gets all fluttery is unhealthy, so I switch to decaf around ten or eleven in the morning and the Green Mountain - Dark Magic® Extra Bold Decaf is actually really good decaf. We got a variety decaf pack with it and now its all gone and I’m left with disappointing decaf.

Good news for those who feel their coffee is too weak- at Keurig.com they have introduced what they’re calling “travel mug” cups. They have twice the coffee in the cup for the same price. It is meant for 10-12 ounce cups.

Just ordered some. Will report back!

Ooh, thanks for the update. I just started a job that will require my first commute in 15 years, so I’m all about the travel mug right now.
