They’re good, fast, and really useful. I’m gradually learning more of them.

Not when you’re in an edit window! When you’re anywhere else, not editing text.

If the question mark didn’t work in an edit window, no one could ask a question in a reply. (I have to admit though. I tried it too.)
I tried it in the search slot first, with no results.
There are many things I don’t understand, but I’m trying to stay carefree. 
I also heard this expression here before and I have no idea what it means.
I’ve looked it up with no relevant results.
It’s the sound of a joke going past someone, without them getting it.

In the way I meant it in your case was I was wondering if you were kidding with others about it and whooshing them.

@PlaceboTarget - click on the screen somewhere (not a link, not a hyperlink, not a search bar - just somewhere in blank space). Then type “?”.

I went to Urban Dictionary and kind of understood what “whooshing” means.
I would have never imagined that one is supposed to type question mark on a non-typing surface to get a result. Anyway, thank you everyone for the tip and for the help. Criticism helps too.
ETA: I’m playing with the shortcuts too and they’re really fun (besides useful, of course).
Aww. ~hanging my head in shame~ I’ll try to be better in the future. I thought you already had it worked out. I shouldn’t assume those things. My apologies again. No criticism from me anyway. You’re a good person for continuing to respond to me. Thanks.
Do you think you will? I took a look at them, and they didn’t seem all that intuitive. I like that they’re there - I’m sure they provide a good amount of utility to a poweruser.
Edit: Though I may use “=” a lot. That seems very handy.
Of course I will make a selection of those that look useful and easy to use.
Everyone will probably do the same; nothing special about it.
ETA: I love it, for instance, how you start Creating a new topic simply by pressing C.
In this case, if I had whooshed your recommendation, I guess it would have been a mocking gesture or something like that (if I understand the Urban Dictionary correctly). I admit my post was silly, but I only wanted to display my helplessness. And later, when you tried to help me, I just didn’t understand what “anywhere else” meant. I couldn’t think out of the box. And my box is sometimes inside another box… it’s complicated.
So, here’s a question about one of the keyboard shortcuts:
You can flag a post by typing exclamation mark.
How do exactly do that? Do I make sure that the scroll bar shows the number of the post I want to flag and press exclamation mark on my keyboard?
You can select a post by using the J and K keys. These keys scroll up and down one post at a time, and also show the selected post by a red line on the left next to it (in SD Light theme, anyway).
One you’ve selected a post, then you can bookmark it, flag it, etc. using the keyboard.
