Kicked out of Starbucks Saturday night.

Me too. I met my now wife at a movie theater. We decided to get a cup of coffee at an 24 hour IHOP. We sat there until the wee hours of the morning talking away.

I only skipped through but he said this:

There seems to have been some action. Reverse action, but action still.

When’s the second date? I want details on that one, too.

Happened to me on a first date, left her soon after as she just wouldn’t shut up!

That’s almost as weird as the time me and some friends walked into a Chili’s in Orlando on a Saturday night around Midnight at they were just getting ready to close.

Huh, you learn something new every day. The ones near me are open till 10:00 or 11:00.

Sent a link to this thread to the gal I met and I just got the response back. She said she was shocked, surprised, had a laugh then asked what kind of people do I hang around with. The part she said she liked the most was the posts about those that are still together, she said it would make her happy if this was the last “first meeting” she has.

What seems wierd about that particular Starbucks it is one of 3 in a quarter mile radius and is the only one that closes at 8. The other 2 close at 9. They did have padded chairs but we sat at a small table and till we got up, saw no reason to sit anywhere else.

Our next date is this Saturday, she is going to make me dinner then the plan is to go see a movie. The movie plan could change though. Sunday we are going to an antique show then go watch the Super Bowl. After that???

Profit?

That sounds lovely, racer. It’s always nice to meet people you just click with, whether it’s romantic or not.

Yes! It’s easy to have a 7 hour convo about your whole life, but what happens when you only have one week to talk about? My advice for the second date: meet at a bar, lubricate the conversation with some drinks, and if it starts to stall head straight for the sex.

They’ll be thrown out of most bars for that.

Only if the sex happens in the stalls.
