After rooting around for my “Kid A” title reference source, I have discovered that it was in the Oct. 6 issue of EW’s review of said album.<br>

“<i>Kid A</i> (named after ‘a computer program of children’s voices’ according to the band)”<br>
<br>
Of course it wouldn’t be unusual for the boys to spread mis-information…especially to EW.

Hmm, good question. I don’t remember. It very well could be the latter (The Tourist preceding Airbag) and not the former (the album being about the alien crashing to Earth).

The former could very well be my own interpretation of the album, based on knowing the latter.

I dunno.
